KJ Denhert performs with her band this Wednesday at the NewSong Series in Bryant Park

Wednesday, May 14. New York City. Following a great launch of the series with a concert and workshop last Wednesday by NewSong Recordings artist Chris Velan, KJ Denhert will appear with her band this Wednesday at 5:00 PM. A workshop led by KJ will immediately follow the performance, where topics she'll cover include:

• Creating Independent Melodies in Contemporary songwriting
• Using your ears and not your hands to write music on guitar
• Putting your songs together with a band
  (often they need to be more skilled than you)

NewSong Artists to perform at this summer's Contemporary American Theater Festival

In its ongoing efforts to create high profile performance opportunities for talented members of the NewSong music community, NewSong has recently partnered with the Contemporary American Theater Festival (CATF) to produce four performance showcases during this summer's festival.
