NewSong Creative & Career Consultations

We receive a number of requests from artists for feedback on their original material, as well as guidance on how to navigate the music industry to make the most of their music careers.

Well, starting May 15 (the date, coincidentally, that we launch this year's contest), we're happy to announce that for an additional fee, we'll be offering creative and career consultation on the material you submit to the Mountain Stage NewSong Contest.

We'll provide more details over the next couple of weeks, but here's a preview of what these services look like:

• A one-on-one personal consultation with qualified, experienced music industry personnel who have carefully reviewed your material.
• A choice of three packages to choose from:
  • Creative Consultation/Song Critiques: An in-depth analysis of your songs' strengths and weaknesses, including an analysis of melody, rhythm, harmony and lyrics.
  • Career Consultation: Guided D.I.Y. We'll help establish your career goals and expectations, answer your career-related questions and deliver useful advice and opinions. And we'll act as both a filter and a resource regarding booking, management, music licensing, promotions and publicity.
  • Creative & Career Package: A discounted, bundled package offering both creative and career consultation.
